Futureshave

Can't wait for THIS robot.

This video makes shaving seem THIS.CLOSE to being a sexual experience. Maybe it is...?

At any rate, I found the link over at Badger and Blade forums.

Valve announces next round of TF2 class updates

Hot on the heels of the Medic achievement/weapon pack comes news of the updates to the Pyro class. While not everything is known yet, we do have info on the first weapon update: The Axtinguisher

The Axtinguisher is a melee weapon that guarantees a critical hit to any enemy that is on fire. This should make for a ton of ax-swingin' pyros.

No word on any of the achievements yet, or other weapons - but stay tuned, you know Icrontic is on top of this.

Tiki games release first self-published game on the Playstation Network

Today on Playstation.Blog, Tiki Games announced their first game for the Playstation Network, "Novastrike". Novastrike is a top down space shooter, which is a wholly unremarkable concept. What IS remarkable however, is that Novastrike represents the first self-published game to appear on the Playstation Network.

Lead developer Kevin McCann had this to say:

For you gamers that might understandably not mean much, but for any independent developers that are currently developing a title for PSN or thinking about doing it – we’re proof that you can self-publish a game on PSN.

This can only be exciting news for PS3 owners. There are many amazing Indie developers out there and now that the PSN "glass ceiling" has been broken, the next couple of years should bring some exciting new content to the PS3.

Super Badass Pens

Today I was at the store and I needed a pen. A particular box caught my eye and as I read the package, I felt compelled to buy this thing just to see how gimmicky it was.

"This thing" is the Pilot FriXion gel pen.

It's no gimmick.

This is a gel pen with perfectly legit blue gel ink, a smooth writing action, and a comfortable shape.....

And it's 100% erasable. I mean, CLEAN erasing with no residue, and basically no trace of ever having written anything. If you pressed hard when you wrote, you can still see the actual indent from the tip, but other than that - ink is GONE.

It works via heat from friction. The "eraser" is hard rubber and doesn't flake off on the page like normal soft erasers. You rub the ink, heat it up, and it turns perfectly invisible. It's AWESOME. I've been drawing unnecessary lines all day just so I can erase them.

Just don't sign any legal documents with them, cause I think getting the documents warm might make the whole thing disappear :)
