We voted on IRC, and the third commercial wins!

Sitting in IRC on #icrontic the other night...

I saw Thrax mention that he was looking for a good wheat beer or a good pale ale (I don't remember now). I've kept telling him about this epic store called Wiater's that sells beer from ALL OVER THE WORLD that is only about 4 miles from ICHQ.

Finally last night I couldn't take it anymore. GODDAMNIT THRAX, JUST COME OVER, WE'RE GOING TO WIATER'S.

"FINE ALRIGHT FML" says Thrax, who gets in his car and heads our way.

Yup, he showed up and at 8:30 at night Keebler, Thrax, and I got into Keebs' car and jetted over to 8 Mile and Groesbeck to attend to duty.

Wiater's is EPIC. They have TONS of exotic beers. We walked out with cases of Sam Adams Hefeweizen, Sam Adams White Ale, Bell's Winter White, and Rising Moon Spring Ale. We also got some individual bottles - two Belgians (one a doppelbock and the other.. I forget. Some crazy monk shit. I'll post the names later) and Unibroue's Seigneuriale.

At any rate, Icrontic for the win. Good beer is always worth the trouble.

Last night, the United States Navy got to shoot a big missile at an even bigger, but not as cool, spy satellite. It's amazing that we have the capability to shoot down fast moving targets a bazillion miles away from water-based platforms. You'd think waves would cause a problem, but I digress . . .

While everyone is waiting for satellite parts to make pretty streaks in the sky, here's something to tide you over.

The crazy dudes and sassy dudettes of #icrontic used to love linking each other to videos of the Ukrainian band SMS on Stage6... However one sad day all the videos were removed and we had to get our jollies elsewhere.

No longer! Our man Fatcat found all the SMS videos on Stage6 - they're back!

Blue Moon, we love it, but what happens when one of our favorite beer makers does a seasonal brew? Today I will take a look at Harvest Moon Pumpkin Ale and see if it lives up to the Blue Moon name.

This beer would be an excellent choice with a steak. The taste can be a little strong for some, and as such I usually order Sam Adams Light at the bar. With that being said, SABL is still a very refreshing beer, and a fine selection for a connoisseur.
