You have to write a letter directly to the two guys that make them. Good luck.

Virtual Hang. Not as cool but it will have to do for us plebs.

Also, a ghatam can be had for about sixty bucks...

The ghatam just looks like a pot for flowers and sounds too sharp.

...meh. sounds far too 'new age-y' for me. might be okay from time to time as a supporting instrument for a few spacy sounds.

  13. CB said May 9, 2008 2:30pm (ET)

    hmmm...

at about $1200 (and about a year and a half waiting period) I don't think I'll be picking one up anytime soon.

Keebler I apologize for my lack of grammar. Please let me fix the errors in my last statement.

Thank you Brian for being a upstanding friend. Your timely response has me questioning your work ethics. I hope you are not partaking in any tomfoolery.

    Cheers

Indeed, my compadré, I was taking place in what could only be called "extracurricular" activities.... while on the clock.. giggle giggle.

I apologize if the tone that my partner-in-crime took with you was slightly off-putting. He tends to do that at certain ... ahem.. times of the month....

Sounds like something they would play as music for the sims.
But its really cool, to bad it costs so much.

A good quality instrument usually does. My first guitar cost $100. My good one (a Martin) was $1200. A friend has a few guitars that were well over $2500.
I'd love to get one of these.

I'd be okay with a low-quality, $100 hang drum. It'd just be toy for me anyway...
